What a strange month it has been in terms of reading, in that everything sort of blended together to produce bizarre dreams.  Hiro began playing a lot  of Minecraft this month since he was sick with  FUO (Fever of Unknown Origin). Then directly after his 4 days of missed school due to his fever, he had spring break, which boiled down to a lot of down time in pajamas driving me crazy, at home.

So Minecraft, Narnia and the virtual dystopic world in Dave Egger's  The Circle were spliced together with all the teen technology articles I had to read for my online class was synthesized into my subconscious all month.

I have now read 4 Dave Eggers novels in the last 2 months and am done with this run for now.  I began You Shall Know Our Velocity, but dropped it after a handful of pages to complete my coursework for my MLS- consisting of one last research paper and a presentation, which I just turned in....and I don't think I'll go back to it.

Frog Music, I could have done without.  The author wrote Room, which I refused to read or see the film adaptation of.  The story was interesting enough, a lot of interesting issues brought up and based on true events that happened in San Francisco.  The source material Donoghue had to wade through seemed much more interesting than the final book though unfortunately I won't get to any time soon.

May is here and school is almost out.  I need to begin making my list for the summer. Yippee!
